Rainier - Lamp Failure Alarm

If a Rainier control panel is no longer able to light a UV lamp, a lamp failure alarm will occur. This alarm could be caused by a failed lamp or a failed controller. The lamp failure alarm will be lit and will be audibly sounding.

Recommended Actions:

1. Unplug the UV system from the outlet. NOTE: Turning the system to OFF does not turn off the power to the control panel, it must be unplugged.

2. Ensure each lamp connector is securely connected to the lamp(s).

3. Plug in the UV system to the outlet.

4. If the control panel still displays the same alarm, replace the lamp(s). The model number will be listed on the silver label on the UV chamber.

5. If a new lamp does not clear the alarm, replace the ballast(s). The model number will be listed on the silver label on the UV chamber.
