Blackcomb - Lamp Timer Reset

UV lamps must be replaced once the lamp life timer reaches 0 days or when a lamp has failed. When a lamp change is performed, the lamp life timer must be reset on the controller for the system to operate normally. Follow the steps below based on the controller type to reset the timer. 

 

4.1 controller – 4-Digit LED Display

 

  1. Plug in the controller.
  2. Press and hold button on front of controller.
  3. The controller will read “rSt3”, “rSt2”, “rSt1” and beep.
  4. Release button. Controller is now reset.

 

When the button is released, the controller will display 375 or 420 days, depending on your system. The LED will be green. 

 

5.0 controller – LCD Display, No Lamp Key

  1. Unplug the controller.
  2. Press and hold button on front of controller.
  3. While holding button, plug in controller.
  4. The controller will display that the timer is being reset and then display “lamp life reset”.

 

To check that the reset worked, press the button (do not hold) to scroll through the screens. The lamp life remaining will display 375 or 420 days, depending on your system. 

 

5.1 controller – LCD Display, Lamp Key

 

  1. Unplug the controller.
  2. Unplug the lamp key.
  3. Insert new lamp key from new lamp.
  4. Plug in the controller.

 

To check that the reset worked, press the button (do not hold) to scroll through the screens. The lamp life remaining will display 375 or 420 days, depending on your system. If the lamp timer does not reset, please submit a ticket for support. New Ticket
