A remote alarm module can be added to any Blackcomb 5.1/6.1 UV system. This module allows the user to connect their system to a remote light or buzzer, allowing them to detect a system failure without checking the UV system. Follow the instructions below to add a remote alarm module to a UV system.
- With the system powered down, plug the male plug into the IEP on either the controller, sensor or another module containing an IEP.
- Connect the desired alarm such as a buzzer or light to the dry contacts on the remote alarm using 16-22AWG wire and a power supply of 5-30 V/1A MAX power to the remote alarm module.
- Power on system.
